EVANGELIST CAROLINE GILBERT

Caroline Gilbert is a native of St. Louis, MO, she received her call to ministry at Old Landmark
COGIC under the leadership of Pastor Albert G. Hollins. She is currently a member of St.
Samuel Temple COGIC under the leadership of Assistant Superintendent Pastor Donnie Moore.
She has been a licensed missionary for over 40 years and served as a District Missionary for
more than 30 years.

Evangelist Gilbert serves as the chairperson of the Finance Department for the Eastern Missouri
Western Illinois Jurisdiction Women’s Department under the leadership of Second Assistant
Presiding Bishop Lawrence M. Wooten and Supervisor Rosetta Watts.
Evangelist Gilbert’s passion for ministry. She has conducted revivals and had speaking eight
states (MO, NE, CA, NC, KY, IL, IN, TN) has allowed her to serve faithfully in the following
capacities:

• Jurisdictional Women’s Department Chairperson of Finance

• Member Jurisdictional Women’s Department Advisory Board

• Pastor’s Aid Leader

Evangelist Gilbert was married to the late Minister Chauncey Gilbert for 50 years. She has
twelve siblings, six children and spouses, twenty-four grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren.
She has served her family, church and community well and is most proud of being recognized as
a child of God.
